Who is Celebrity Big Brother 'favourite' Trisha Paytas?

Celebrity Big Brother is back on our screens to fill the Love Island-shaped hole in our lives.

As ever, the word "celebrity" is used rather generously - with many people struggling to register a glimmer of recognition for some of the contestants.

Possibly no more so than bubbly American Trisha Paytas, who's been named as an early favourite.

So here's Newsbeat's guide to the YouTube star.

Possibly what she's most known for is bearing her soul for everyone to see.

Trisha started her YouTube channel "blndsundoll4mj" in 2007, and has since gained 2.8m subscribers.

She also has a second channel called Trisha Paytas, with more than 900,000 subscribers, where she posts vlogs and unedited videos.

The views from both her channels combined add up to more than one billion.

Most of her videos contain some sort of nudity, swearing or sexual exploit.

We can't show you those, so here she is dancing to Britney Spears.

She regularly posts videos of dance routines on her YouTube channel.

My Strange Addiction

One of Trisha's first television appearances was when she featured on the first ever episode of the TLC network's My Strange Addiction in 2010.

She admitted to going on tanning beds at least "once every 24 hours" although if she had an event, she would go to different salons and have more than one session a day.

Trisha has built a fanbase since her appearance on My Strange Addiction.

After being criticised, Trisha later released a video on her own YouTube channel, addressing her "addiction" and her appearance on the show, saying: "I am an adult and I make my own decisions, whether they are informed or not, is not something you need to worry about.

"But rest assured, I educate myself plenty."

Anything else?

Trisha has also had a notable career as an extra, appearing in music videos for Amy Winehouse, Guns N' Roses and Eminem.

She tweeted about the time she was in Amy Winehouse's music video.

Her other credits include Modern Family, The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Dr. Phil.
